Right Paths Christian Academy is a Christ-centered option for education for grades K-12; for full time students or part time homeschooled students. Proverbs 4:11 is our foundational Scripture: "I have taught you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in right paths." (NKJV)
We are officially taking student registrations and volunteer/job applications. Let us know if you need forms. We are thankful for the teachers and students who have expressed a desire and interest to begin this upcoming school year in the fall.
What are we doing, and why?
We exist by the calling of God to provide educational programs and relevant lifelong learning opportunities within a Christian environment, as an alternative and/or supplemental option to the traditional public and home school models. We will eventually offer opportunities for all ages, infants through adulthood, but are are beginning with grades K-12. Our desire is to encourage and provide Christian education opportunities within traditional or conventional areas of learning; to equip students educationally and spiritually to fulfill their purposes for the Kingdom of God here on earth; and to assist parents and teachers called to serve God through an educational ministry.
- God has placed on the hearts of many of us involved in Right Paths to see this option for Christian education to be available in this region. He has confirmed it in many ways over the last year and a half. We are moving forward following the Lord in His directive.
- Right now - options are 1) public school, 2) homeschool, 3) Catholic school through 8th grade. So what is different? Why another option? First, in public school Jesus isn't the focus, 2) not everybody is called to homeschool and homeschoolers get support, 3) doctrinally Right Paths Christian Academy will be protestant vs catholic.
- Right Paths Christian Academy will be a marrying of the homeschool model and a Christian school. Parents will be allowed to be involved as much as possible as we strive to follow the Biblical model of the parents being responsible for the education and discipline of their children. We will have available a statement of faith, code of conduct, and disciplinary policy that we will abide by that should support the parents in this endeavor without violating any Biblical principles.
- Jesus, the Word of God, and His will for our lives is the priority - a right path for each of us and each of the children
