Right Paths Christian Academy, an activity of Right Paths, Inc. is a non-accredited private educational organization using a home school model according to the Kansas state laws. K.S.A. §72-53,101.

In order to satisfy the compulsory attendance statute, a home school, and/or non-accredited private school must have instruction time "substantially equivalent" to the public school (465 hours per year for kindergarten, 1,116 hours per year for grades 1-11, and 1,086 hours per year for 12th-graders). K.S.A. §§72-1106(b) and §72-1111(a)(2).

*This represents 175 school days @ 6.5 hours of instruction per day which equates to 1,137.5 hours with 21.5 hours available for snow days.
